Alexandra Leigh LaForce born December 11, is an American journalist, model, and beauty pageant titleholder. LaForce is from Vermilion, Ohio. She attended Ohio University and played five games her freshman year  under head coach Semeka Randall as a guard on the Bobcats ' women's basketball team. She also earned a guest appearance in the NBC soap opera Passions.

Many kids choose to play sports for fun, of course, but sports have many positive effects on children who participate in them. Younger children typically have more fun with sports when played in a friendly manner, without too much competition or pressure to win. Children who participate in sports experience positive effects on their mental health, as well. Physical activity triggers the release of endorphins in the brain, chemicals that boost mood and help prevent and relieve depression, according to the Mayo Clinic. Physical activity also relieves anxiety. Improved self-esteem and self-confidence also help improve mood and mental health. Kids who participate in sports earn better grades in school and develop better social skills, according to the University of Florida.
Five families and countless others left devastated. On February 10, a violent car crash claimed the lives of Skyelar Kelly and Izaiah Salyer, they were only 17 years old. The driver of a Chevy Tahoe headed south on Little blue parkway, south of Truman road, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with the vehicle carrying the teens. Saturday, February 20th family and friends of the two teens visited the football field at Oak Grove High School for a balloon release to remember them. He was there for everyone.
A number of Bible verses tell us how to be good athletes or use athletics as a metaphor for matters of life and faith. Scripture also reveals the character traits we can develop through athletics. We must all remember, of course, that the race that we're running every day is not a literal footrace but one much bigger and more meaningful.
